Engineering Program Lead

Description

• Lead and manage programs focused on engine performance optimization and advanced control systems development.
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, and service teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-performance engine solutions.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful program execution.
• Track and report on program milestones, performance metrics, and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Identify technical challenges in engine performance and controls, and drive resolution through innovative solutions.
• Contribute to team throughput by individually executing short turnaround technical deliverables within the controls and performance teams.  Specifics to be agreed based on capabilities of applicant.
• Promote best practices in engine control algorithm development and calibration.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in product and technology development.
• Proven experience in program or project management within engine development and/or control systems engineering.
• Strong technical background in engine performance, calibration, and control systems design.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Effective communicator, able to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc) and methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc) is a plus.
