Job Description - Engineering Program Manager Bay Area

Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably. We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.
As an Engineering Program Manager in our semiconductor applications group, you will use your engineering background to understand product requirements, technical risks, and validation plans to introduce new products. You will communicate project status, highlight risks, and develop recovery plans if needed. You should possess a robust technical background in wafer bonding and packaging. You are organized and diligent in follow-ups. You will ensure priorities, commitments, and schedules are aligned.

Responsibilities:

Launch technical programs centered on wafer bonding and packaging, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
Define specifications pertinent to both R&D and volume production stages.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on project progress, and managing expectations.
Conduct regular program reviews geared towards continuous improvement of product performance.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and/or evidence of exceptional experience.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or Engineering program management, or related roles in the semiconductor, chip packaging, HDD, or related industry.
Fast learner, detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
$70,000 - $300,000 a year The position is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and location. We will also consider higher-level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly. Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life.
