Project Manager

on Olsson's Transmission and Distribution (Power Delivery) team, you'll contribute to upgrading electrical systems to meet future demands and design the robust, high-powered substations vital to our communities. This role is a blend of technical project management and client-facing responsibilities, perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit looking to grow Olsson's presence in the Arizona energy market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead project management for complex, high-priority projects across multiple teams.
Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; track progress to ensure financial success and timely completion.
Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as the primary liaison between all project parties.
Lead execution of project plans by managing teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Monitor progress, manage change requests, execute risk management, and maintain quality standards.
Foster ongoing positive relationships with clients, focusing on exceptional service to secure future work.
Mentor staff on project management best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, landscape architecture, or a related area preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience considered.
A minimum of 8-12 years of project experience in the energy industry, with a strong preference for experience and connections in the Arizona Utilities market.
Demonstrated ability in managing projects and client relationships, with a 50/50 focus on project management and client engagement.
