Engineering Tech I

As a member of the resort operations team, Maintenance Staff is responsible for assuring all resort and unit amenities maintain resort quality standards.

As Engineering Tech I, you will: 

• Perform general maintenance duties including but not limited to basic repair work, painting, maintenance of fixtures, appliance installation and removal, and assisting with unit renovations
• Daily complete unit work tickets assigned in a neat, courteous, efficient manner
• Daily complete any guest service requests in an efficient and courteous manner
• Complete daily scheduled routine maintenance
• Be responsible and aware of budget guidelines when working on projects and repairs, work with management and supervisors
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Resort Management to complete “maintenance weeks” and “deep cleans” in a timely scheduled method
• Follow all VI policies and procedures
• Follow all city, county and federal government rules and regulations
• Assist Management with keeping MSDS/GHS binder current and up to date
• Follow all OSHA rules and regulations
• Assist Management when needed or upon request
• Assist Housekeeping and Front Desk when needed
• Assist with TSW (Timeshare Ware) when needed
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma required. 
• Up to 1 year of experience in Engineering/Maintenance/Trades operations within a resort or commercial environment
• Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to various tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently
• Must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
