Engineering Technical Analyst Job Description

Position Summary:

• TPWR is seeking an Engineering Technical Analyst to join TPWR’s team in Midland, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can be both a self-starter, and a team player while using excellent communication skills in a dynamic environment 

Job Role

• Assist with hands-on project planning and engineering for all phases of water- related projects to include the following: job specific planning and support, economic analysis, tracking and analyzing operational execution and performances
• Preparation of technical and professional reports with associated analysis for presentations
• Develop models to support project management, planning, and pre and post job financial analysis
• Gather data from multiple sources and compile into actional data sets including utilizing visualization software such as Spotfire or Power BI

Education

• Bachelors degree in the following: Geosciences, Earth Sciences, Water Resources, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, OR 5+ years experience in lieu of listed bachelors degrees

Skills

• General understanding and familiarity of water management, including municipal water planning, oil-field water sourcing, or aquifer management experience
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-changing environment
• Microsoft Office Suite experience required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Requirements
