We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nYour primary responsibility will be to process samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios SEM tools. Sample types will include top\u2011down and cross\u2011sectional SEM imaging. Additional responsibilities include imaging AutoTEM\u2011prepared lamellae using the installed STEM detector on the SEM tool.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Follow laboratory methodology for TDSEM/XSEM sample preparation in accordance with quality standards.\n * Optimize personal workflows to ensure efficient sample throughput.\n * Communicate with lab management to provide work completion time estimates.\n * Provide feedback to lab management to support continuous improvement opportunities in laboratory workflows.\n * Communicate with team members to ensure alignment on methodologies.\n * Protect customer materials and intellectual property at all times.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * 4+ years of experience with a BS degree in a physical science, or a specialized AS degree, or equivalent professional training in materials science and analytical techniques.\n * Experience operating single\u2011beam SEM tools, with a particular focus on the preparation of cleaved cross\u2011sections for XSEM imaging.\n * Knowledge of the physics involved in SEM tools, such as vacuum systems, voltage/current effects, and methods for mitigating charging issues.\n * Sample preparation experience using precision cleaving tools is a plus.\n * Comfortable working a night\u2011shift compressed schedule.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Familiarity with key developments and materials in the semiconductor industry is a plus.\n * Experience creating and presenting technical documentation.\n * Experience in customer IP protection and proper sample handling is a plus.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
