The technician will also support the collection of thermal images for RFFE products to enable HTOL Tj setting and design thermal evaluations. The technician will work closely with engineers, following established setups and guidance, to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Associate\u0027s degree. \nOR \nHigh School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience. \n \nPhysical Requirements: \n\u2022 Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Testing: Work closely with reliability, product, and test engineers to independently set up and execute ESD (HBM/CDM) and Latch\u2011Up (LU) testing on semiconductor devices and products with minimal supervision. Configure, operate, and maintain thermal imaging equipment in support of product characterization and failure analysis efforts.\n\n * Data and Information Analysis: Collect, analyze, and summarize test data, preparing clear and accurate reports for submitting engineers and stakeholders. \n\n * Collaboration Collaborate with individuals inside own team and with other teams to complete project work.\n\n\n\n\nEducation Requirements\n\n * Minimum \u2013 High School Diploma or Equivalent\n\n * Preferred - Associates in any technical area with Engineering or Mathematics\n\n\n\n\nYears of Experience Required\n\n * Minimum - 2+ years basic electrical/electronic engineering, electronics or ESD/LU (HBM, CDM and LU) testing, or related experience.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\n * 1+ years\u2019 experience working in component level ESD/LU testing\n\n * 1+ years\u2019 experience working in thermal imaging data collection\n\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience in Semiconductor or related industry\n\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience with general computer skills and Microsoft applications.\n\n\n\n\nTop 5 Required Skills\n\n * Basic understanding of ESD and Latch-up testing\n * Communication and uses of Business communication tools\n * Coordination with direct and indirect team members\n * Following written and oral directions\n * Keep pace with a changing work environment Emotional intelligence\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
