Job Description - Enrollment Coordinator

Be part of an organization that changes lives every day! The enrollment coordinator guides families on their journey to address academic needs. This could include filling in skill gaps, building confidence, or getting ahead academically. This position will play a key part in the success of growing the center and enriching the lives of many students and families. This position has the potential to lead into a full-time position, if desired.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience leading enrollment, admissions, recruitment, marketing, sales, customer engagement, or related functions
  • Experience working in schools, charter schools, higher education, nonprofit organizations, or customer-centered organizations preferred
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with digital communication tools and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with instructional technology and tablet computers preferred
  • Strong word processing, data entry, and other administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Assist families in identifying educational goals/needs and recommending solutions
  • Manage inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and exceptional customer service throughout the enrollment process.
  • Collaborate with the director of education to ensure seamless movement of families from inquiry to assessment to enrollment. 
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent/teacher organizations.
  • Develop relationships with community partners, referral sources, and organizations that may generate student referrals. 
  • Analyze enrollment trends and recommend strategies to improve conversion and retention.
  • Plan and execute open houses, tours, enrollment events, and community outreach activities.
  • Participate in community events and presentations to educate families about our programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, such as scholarships, that can assist families with program costs.
