Position Description:
The Enrollment Development Representative II (EDR II) supports all marketing efforts for Center for Elders’ Independence, Program of Al-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). They will conduct marketing events to increase PACE awareness within an assigned geographical area. The EDR II focuses on developing relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, providers, and community-based organizations. They will be the initial primary point of contact representing PACE to the senior population within culturally diverse and underserved communities.
The salary range for the Enrollment Development Representative II (EDR II) position at Center for Elders Independence is $86,095 to $129,143 annual salary. Wages/salary are based on the market for the Enrollment Development Representative II (EDR II) position, as well as experience, skills, abilities and work history.
The primary responsibility for the EDR II Is to increase census for their assigned PACE center. They must be able to identify new referral sources, generate new leads, schedule visitors to tour PACE center(s) and procure qualified leads to enrollments. The ERD II will be responsible for professionally representing the PACE program by maintaining a strict adherence with local, state, and federal laws, and CEI Business Code of Conduct and Standards of Behavior. The EDR II must work as part of a local team, concentrating on the delivery of high-quality services to all of our prospective participants and partners. They will be instrumental in supporting the PACE Center Directors with marketing and retention strategies to grow and maintain participant census. The EDR II will assist management with developing, training, and mentoring EDR Is, lead weekly Outreach Team meetings, preparing monthly development summaries, and contribute to development of marketing sales guides and materials.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver presentations promoting Center for Elders’ Independence, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) to various groups throughout the PACE service area.
- Produce self-generated qualified leads. Schedule visitor(s) for tours and presentations, conduct outreach and thorough follow-up with all potential prospects for enrollment.
- Maintain and report production results, dally/weekly/monthly. Must keep accurate records to track all individual productivity through the implemented department systems such as: CRM database, daily tracking reports and spreadsheets.
- Adhere to State and Federal laws and DHS regulations and policies regarding marketing practices for Senior Care Services and CMS PACE Marketing Guidelines.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources within the PACE geographical service area.
- Mail/deliver information about comprehensive health and social services to various community-based organizations that serve seniors residing within the PACE service area.
- Organize and conduct a minimum of 2 events per month, 1 internal and 1 external. Presentations will be geared to service area hospitals, clinics, schools, churches, social agencies, senior housing and centers, other healthcare agencies, and to other interested groups.
- Develop and maintain referral sources by utilizing contact databases (CRM), which become proprietary collateral of Center for Elders’ Independence.
- Set up canopy, tabletop, chair, and marketing materials, and distribute collateral to promote Senior Care Services PACE program at various community and healthcare events.
- Develop a quarterly 30/60/90 marketing plan with market analysis to generate qualified leads, visitors and enrollments.
- Collaborate with Center Directors and operational teams to develop marketing and retention strategies to grow and maintain participant census.
- Assist management with training, coaching and developing of EDR Is.
- Lead Community Access and Development Huddles and help enhance Marketing sales guides and promotional materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to working evenings and weekends.
- Assigned geographical territory may be subject to change based on business need.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare, business administration, or a related field of study preferred.
- A minimum of four years of direct business or consumer outreach/marketing/sales experience is required.
- Healthcare business development experience and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and the healthcare reimbursement space – Medicare, Medi-Cal – preferred.
- A demonstrated history of success in goal attainment.
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
- Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish; English/Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese; English/Vietnamese or other.
- Highly proficient in Salesforce CRM and MS Office.
- Experience with team development, training and mentoring
- Experience with preparing summaries, reports and leading team meetings
- A passion for working with the senior and underserved populations.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 40 pounds), bend, etc.; hand and wrist dexterity to utilize keyboard.
- Travel within assigned territory up to 80% of the time to healthcare provider and agency sites, programs and special functions.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance coverage required.
