This Enterprise Architect role will be focused on supporting application teams from both a architecture consultancy approach and manage the governance of our Architecture Review Boards governance process. The consulting will assist teams in designing their application and solution architectures, including looking for opportunities to onboard their applications to the public cloud. The governance role will ensure teams are prepared for design reviews through the Architecture Review Board, run and facilitate those meetings, and hold teams accountable for addressing identified gaps. In addition, the role will help define enterprise patterns to give design direction to teams.

Key Responsibilities
Coach teams through design and architecture review boards
Consult with teams to improve their delivery maturity for cloud
Provide platform guidance for different use cases
Run and facilitate weekly Architecture Review Board meetings
Continuously improve enterprise architecture processes through a product mindset
Define enterprise patterns and cookbooks to provide guidance to teams
Required Key Skills Broad solution architecture experience Application architectures (e.g. n-tier)
Integration architectures (APIs, Event Streaming, Message Queues and ETL)
Platform architecture
Security architecture - identity and access management, data loss prevention
Data architecture - different data models and approaches (relational, NoSQL, data mesh, lakes / warehouses)

Consulting mindset demonstrating problem solving with a customer focus, with a strong attention to detail
Proven skills in managing governance forums with strong communication skills
Comfortable working with chief architects and CIO / CTO level and working in collaborative environment
Agile application delivery experience Scrum or other agile methods to deliver against product backlog
Strong DevOps pipeline experience (GitHub preferred)

Preferred Skills Cloud experience (Azure preferred) Platform as a Service - Containers, Kubernetes
Security - Firewalls, Networks
Data platforms - data pipelines, data fabric, database platforms
Infrastructure as a Service - supporting re-paving and patching of VMs

Experience with Azure DevOps / Boards
Experience At least 10 years in software delivery and architecture
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
