Overview: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our organization tto support our Navy (NAVSEA) customer in Washington, DC Navy Yard in a hybrid capacity. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic IT solutions to support our organization's goals and objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing the current technology infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement, and designing innovative solutions to optimize our systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in Microsoft SharePoint Online, troubleshooting IT issues, strategic planning, business case analysis, software development, and providing support for digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities: Analyze the existing technology infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Develop strategic plans and roadmaps to align IT initiatives with organizational goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide expertise and guidance on the selection, implementation, and integration of software applications and tools. Troubleshoot IT issues and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance system performance and reliability. Conduct business case analysis for new or updated IT application requests, considering the technological infrastructure and organizational needs. Develop and maintain tools, databases, and websites to support government management requirements. Support ongoing and future digital transformation efforts, including the development of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of IT innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of IT solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from accredited University with CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP
OR
Master's Degree in relevant field from accredited University with CISSP, CSSLP, or CASP 15 years of related professional experience. Advanced experience in Microsoft SharePoint Online. Proven expertise in troubleshooting IT issues and implementing system process improvements. Strong strategic planning skills, with experience in computerized and manual systems, information processing equipment, software applications, and communication systems. Experience conducting business case analysis for IT applications and infrastructure. Proficiency in developing and maintaining tools, databases, and websites to support government management needs. Solid background in software development, including experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Department of Navy experience is highly desirable. NAVSEA experience with SEA03 is highly desirable. Familiarity with Navy Operation Flank Speed is highly desirable. Active Secret Clearance is required. This position is contingent upon contract award.
