Position Requirements 

Education and Training 

An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a technology-related field. 

Licenses and Certifications 

1. A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card. 

2. Preferred - Professional certification in cybersecurity, network infrastructure, or technology leadership is desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Cisco Certified Network Professional or Expert (CCNP/CCIE), or ITIL. 

Experience 

1. Satisfactory service in corresponding or related positions or have previously demonstrated five (5) years of successful supervisory experience related to the administrative position. 

2. Minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of progressively responsible enterprise technology leadership experience with responsibility across multiple areas such as infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, telecommunications, cloud, and data center or server operations, or an equivalent combination of technology leadership roles. 

3. Experience leading or overseeing cybersecurity operations, risk management, and incident response, including coordination of response to and recovery from significant security incidents. 

4. Experience providing strategic oversight for the design, modernization, and operation of secure, resilient enterprise infrastructure across a large, multi-site organization. 

5. Experience developing and managing large operating and capital technology budgets and multi-year technology strategies. 

Preferred Qualifications 

An earned master’s degree from an accredited college or university in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a technology-related field.
