Job Description - Entertainment Manager



By the Sea Resorts is seeking an experienced Entertainment Manager to manage our live entertainment at our portfolio of hotels and restaurants in beautiful Panama City Beach, Fl. 


The Entertainment Manager is responsible for developing, booking, and managing live entertainment and special events for our hotels and restaurants. This role combines creativity, organization, and strong industry relationships to deliver engaging experiences that enhance guest satisfaction and align with our brand standards.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, event production, and talent management, with the ability to curate a vibrant entertainment calendar that drives business and elevates the guest experience.


Key Responsibilities




  • Plan and manage all entertainment programming for hotel and restaurant venues, including live music, DJs, themed events, and private functions.




  • Source, book, and contract talent — musicians, performers, and entertainers — ensuring alignment with brand image and budget.




  • Develop and manage entertainment calendars for each property, coordinating schedules with operations and marketing teams.




  • Negotiate performance agreements and manage all logistics, including technical setup, accommodations, and payment processing.




  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Marketing, and Operations teams to integrate entertainment into promotions and guest experiences.




  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, noise ordinances, and safety regulations.




  • Monitor event performance and guest feedback, adjusting programming to continuously improve guest engagement and profitability.




  • Maintain vendor and talent databases, building strong relationships with local and regional entertainers and agencies.




  • Oversee event setup and execution, ensuring quality presentation and smooth operations.




Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.




  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in entertainment booking, event management, or hospitality operations.




  • Strong network of entertainment industry contacts (musicians, performers, agencies).




  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.




  • Ability to manage multiple venues and priorities simultaneously.




  • Experience with event budgeting and contract management.




  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
