Entry Level Imaging/Document Specialist - $17.50/HR - Rapid Progression

Our client in the insurance space is seeking candidates eager to learn new skills and to join their Imaging/Document Tech team in North Austin! The main purpose of the Imaging department is to produce digital copies of documents for retention purposes.

$17.50/HR

Monday-Friday | 8:30AM-5PM

Essential Functions

• Backup Manager (when needed) including daily operations, equipment maintenance, quality control, team support and problem resolution
• Assist Manager with inventory control for both physical and electronic vital records
• Assist Manager with security, maintenance and retrieval of vital records
• Quality Control: inspect each individual image for clarity, signatures, cut-offs, saturation, over exposure and overlaps.
• Verify policyholders name and if not found research and enter into system.
• Accept or reject each individual image in accordance with quality control guidelines/procedure
• Research missing policy information and order files from off-site storage vendor
• Assist in processing electronic policy information
• Cross-train in other areas as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school graduate or GED
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to effectively interact with multiple departments, personalities, and staff levels
• Entry level computer skills
