Entry Level Mechanic

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

We are seeking an Entry-Level Mechanic to support preventative maintenance activities and basic mechanical troubleshooting of equipment and machinery. This role is ideal for individuals with a technical education background who are looking to build a career in industrial maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential mechanical issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Replace worn or damaged components such as belts, bearings, filters, and hoses.
• Complete maintenance work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Assist with equipment installations and maintenance projects as assigned.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Carry out additional machining or production tasks as assigned to support workflow and production goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Minimum of 2 years of technical education in Automotive Technology, Aerospace Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.

· Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.

· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.

· Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
