Job Description - Entry Level Parts Clerk - Tank Services

Job Overview:
The primary function of the Parts Clerk is to work in our Tank Services Parts Warehouse working with all aspects of the inventory. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Department Manager.

Primary Duties:

Stocking shelves, stock rotation, restocking and stock relocation.
Receiving, shipping and transferring parts, components, materials and supplies
Demonstrate a detailed understanding of inventory.
Perform cycle counts and full inventory audits.
Perform service truck inventory on a regular basis.
Assist technicians in maintaining rolling stocks.
Report findings and make recommendations for improvement to management.
Prepare parts for upcoming jobs.
Ensure accurate and immediate allocation of parts to work orders.
Maintain stock at remote locations.
Demonstrate professionalism; be always courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers.
Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.
Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences.
Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Follow company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
Perform any duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications / Experience / Education:

Computer Skills (Excel / Microsoft Word / Outlook)
Pass pre-employment 7-year criminal background check.
Valid driver’s license.
High school graduate or equivalent.
1+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
1+ years’ inventory clerk experience or similar role.
