Entry Level Recruiter

About the Role:
Erie Home is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Recruiter to join our in-person, high-volume recruiting team at our Toledo, OH headquarters. As we continue to grow nationwide, the demand to expand our canvassing and installation teams remains high—requiring recruiters who are energized by fast-paced work, high call volume, and structured daily goals.

This role is well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in call centers, customer service, sales, or fast-paced recruiting environments. If you're confident making outbound calls and keeping candidates engaged, you'll be a strong fit.

What to Expect:
This position focuses on the first half of the recruiting cycle. You'll receive lead sources through our internal systems and job platforms, conduct brief screening calls, and coordinate interviews with field leadership. Our onboarding team will manage the post-offer steps, allowing you to focus on identifying and connecting with top talent.

Key Highlights:

• In-office position located in Toledo, OH
• Make 60+ outbound calls per day
• Speak with 10–15 candidates daily (10–15 minute screens)
• Coordinate interview scheduling and follow-up touchpoints
• Work a full 8-hour shift (not necessarily 9–5); evening and weekend availability is encouraged
• Team performance goal: 10+ hires per recruiter each month
  

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a high volume of outreach using structured scripts and workflows
• Source candidates via our ATS, Indeed, and other platforms
• Schedule interviews and maintain candidate engagement
• Ensure clear communication throughout the candidate experience
• Track activity in our ATS and support hiring goals in collaboration with leadership

• Base salary of $45,000 with monthly bonuses — first-year average compensation exceeding $65,000

• Experience in high-volume recruiting, sales, customer service, or call center environments preferred
• Comfortable with high call expectations and managing a fast-paced workload
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Familiarity with ATS tools (e.g., Paylocity), Indeed, or LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
