Entry Level Technician

Position Summary:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll assist in the repair and maintenance of municipal and contractor environmental equipment. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the field of mechanical repair, while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. If you have a basic understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for hands-on work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to kickstart your career.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in troubleshooting and basic repairs of electrical and hydraulic systems.


• Learn how to work with 12-volt electrical systems.


• Help with basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on various equipment types.


• Assist in reading and following wiring diagrams.


• Perform basic tasks on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.


• Work closely with more experienced technicians to complete repairs efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in equipment repair.


• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in working with tools and machinery.


• Any experience with welding, electrical, or hydraulic systems is a plus but not required.


• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.


• A desire to take on new challenges and grow within the company.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

To be successful in this role, you may need to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders or equipment. Vision and hearing must be sufficient to identify equipment issues and ensure safety. The position involves exposure to loud noise, odors, dust, heat, cold, and vibration. You may have to tolerate temperature fluctuations and work in various weather conditions.
