Entry-Level HVAC Commercial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a motivated and certified Entry-Level HVAC Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed all required HVAC certifications and are ready to apply their skills in a commercial setting. The technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems at various commercial job sites.   (Must reside in or be willing to travel to the Columbus area daily)

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on commercial HVAC/R systems
• Troubleshoot and repair worn or defective components, wiring, and equipment
• Diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Travel to various job sites as required
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients

Qualifications:

• Completion of all required HVAC certifications (EPA 608, HVAC/R diploma or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must reside in or be willing to travel to the Columbus, OH area
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality

Preferred Skills

• Prior hands-on experience through internships or training programs
• Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems and tools
• Good communication and customer service skills
