Entry-Level Survey CAD Drafter

Job Summary

Produces detailed drawings of engineering designs with some supervision for land development projects in adherence with company and jurisdictional standards.

Accountability and Duties:

• Accurately completes CAD drawings using firm standards.
• Cooperates and Coordinates with engineers,and CAD technicians in the conduct of project activities.
• Accurately completes improvement construction plans: grading, utility, paving, drainage.
• Completes drawing preparation in allotted timeframe.
• Keeps supervisor informed of work load and any changes in project scope or additional services.
• Provides an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
• Follows quality assurance/quality control processes.

Education and/or Experience:

AutoCAD Certification preferred. Associate’s Degree or technical experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid driver’s license

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess strong attention to detail.
• Available to work nights and weekends to complete a project as necessary
• Ability to make independent decisions within a general framework
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office software
• Must be fluent in the English language
