Eighty30 Creative, a leading HR Management firm and Creative Agency for the Design, Technology, and Entertainment industries, is currently seeking an Environment Artist for a part-time position in New York.

Job Title:        Environment Artist

Position:        Part-time

Job Description:

• Design and integrate landscape terrain art




• Sculpt, model, and texture terrain and props




• Will work closely with Lead Artist and Art Director




• Ensure consistent artistic style with the game’s visual style

Requirements:

• Experience with World Machine a plus




• 2+ years experience in 2D and 3D art production




• Expertise in 3ds Max/Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush or Mudbox is required




• Excellent 2D and 3D art skills




• Proficient at sculpting natural landscapes of varying terrain




• Knowledgeable in shade techniques




• Game experience

• Good command of the English language




• Experience working on released titles a plus




• Eager to learn new tools and technologies




• Ability to work under deadlines and time constraints




• Strong technical background and a quick learner




• Self-starter and able to work and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
