Job Description - Environmental Analyst

Support WhiteWater’s environmental compliance initiatives across midstream assets, including pipelines, compressor stations, and meter stations. Provide support to the Operations team through documentation management and ensure accurate record-keeping. This position reports to the Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist and is based in Austin or Houston.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including those administered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC), and Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ).

  • Assist in preparing and submitting environmental permits, regulatory reports, and filings.

  • Provide compliance support to the Operations and Engineering departments.

  • Conduct internal environmental compliance inspections of WhiteWater facilities and assist in developing corrective actions for identified deficiencies.

  • Track and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and support methane emissions monitoring and reduction initiatives.

  • Manage all applicable environmental documentation and record-keeping.

  • Provide oral and written updates to appropriate personnel regarding compliance activities.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

  • Experience and proficiency with managing and organizing documentation and records.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to travel to field sites as needed (up to 25%).

  • Proficiency in MS Office systems.

  • Maintain the environmental compliance calendar.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
