Environmental Customer Experience Specialist

This position can be based out of our Chicago, IL, Merrillville, IN, Meriden, CT, or La Porte, TX office!

The OpportunityIn this Hybrid role, you will act as an advisor to internal and external customers for technical issues and inquiries regarding hazardous waste management.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesEffectively utilize, coordinate, and cultivate strong relationships with Sales, Approvals, and Operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality and timely service to customersGenerate and submit waste profiles for approvalProvide quotes for potential waste streamsReview profiles and manifests to ensure compliance with DOT and RCRA regulationsDevelop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.Handle incoming customer calls and conduct cold calling as necessaryPartner and support the Sales team to maximize sales effectivenessAct as a point-of-contact and interface between customers/prospects, sales and facilities

Qualifications5 (five) years experience with the industrial and hazardous waste customer support fieldBachelor’s degree preferredKnowledge of RCRA is requiredPrevious experience in waste profiling is requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent analytical, and organizational skillsStrong skillset in professional communication, collaboration, and organizationFriendly demeanor and a service-oriented approachProficiency in Excel and SAP is preferred
