This is an onsite role at our Cleveland, TN location.\n\nAs the EHS Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment focused on accident prevention, emergency control, and strict regulatory compliance. You will champion the plant\u0027s occupational safety programs, ensuring adherence to the Whirlpool Global EHS Policy and driving the plant\u0027s quality and safety objectives. You will lead the \"Whirlpool We Care\" Management System standards and possess the explicit authority to halt any process or activity that poses a critical risk to employee health, safety, or the environment.\n\n## Your responsibilities will include\n\n * Compliance \u0026 Safety Protocols: Ensure full compliance with legal requirements by identifying, evaluating, and implementing specific protocols and operational controls. Demand adherence to corporate and legal standards.\n * Management System Leadership: Lead the implementation, certification, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Whirlpool We Care Management System. Act as an Element Champion during internal and external audits.\n * WCM Safety Pillar Management: Manage the WCM Safety Pillar methodology, including its indicators, standards, budgets, and required documentation. Coordinate related training sessions for all employees and contractors.\n * Audits \u0026 Inspections: Ensure ongoing facility compliance. Lead and participate in regulatory and WCM audits, ensuring the timely closure of all findings from audits, inspections, and walk-throughs.\n * Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the safety techs team\n * Project \u0026 Change Management: Ensure all plant changes and new projects are implemented according to WCM and Whirlpool standards. Implement improvements via the Safety Route Map in coordination with other departments and external contractors.\n * Performance Tracking: Monitor and measure departmental KPIs, ensuring all safety objectives are consistently met, and execute on-time closures of actions assigned in the Safety Compliance Calendar.\n\n\n\n## Minimum requirements\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree\n * 2+ years of experience in Environmental, Health \u0026 Safety\n\n\n\n## Preferred skills and experiences\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Science (Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering, or EHS field)\n * Experience in safety legal requirements\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n\n * 1+ years of experience in World Class Manufacturing (WCM SAF)\n\n * Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal OSHA laws, regulations, and environmental standards\n * Core Skills: Strong capabilities in Strategic Planning, Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision-Making\n * Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Teamwork, Effective Communication, Proactivity, Leadership, and People Management skills\n\n\n\n## What we offer\n\nGenerous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness \u0026 educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
