Position Summary
The Safety Coordinator supports day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the site’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs in a manufacturing environment. This role partners with employees, supervisors, and site leadership to maintain regulatory compliance, identify and correct workplace hazards, coordinate safety training, support incident follow-up, and promote a proactive safety culture
Reporting Structure
Reports to the EHS Manager. This role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires regular time on the production floor to observe work practices, support employees and supervisors, and follow up on safety action items
Key Areas:
Program Coordination: Coordinate inspections, training activities, emergency response readiness, corrective action follow-up, and routine EHS program administration.
Program Support: Monitor workplace conditions, communicate safety expectations, track open action items, maintain EHS records, and support updates to procedures, work instructions, and training materials

Ability to walk and stand on the production floor for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders as needed, wear required personal protective equipment, and occasionally respond to safety issues outside normal business hours.
