Environmental, Health and Safety Technician – Fire & Life Safety

Location: Charlotte, NC
Status: Full-Time | Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Position Summary
Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced EHS Technical Resource to provide onsite environmental, health, safety, and fire/life safety support for a multi-campus environment in the Charlotte, NC.
Fire and life safety experience is essential for this position. Candidates must have demonstrated hands-on experience conducting fire and life safety inspections, identifying hazards and code deficiencies, documenting findings, and supporting corrective actions.
The successful candidate must also have excellent technical and organizational skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and electronic safety, inspection, and reporting systems. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can independently manage multiple projects, priorities, corrective actions, and deadlines.
A college degree is not required. Relevant hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and demonstrated competency are highly valued.

Physical & Travel Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required as regular travel between campus locations is necessary during the workday. A company vehicle will be provided for required work-related travel once onsite.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders, and access laboratories, mechanical areas, shops, storage areas, and other operational spaces. Must be able to wear required PPE, safely work around controlled workplace hazards, and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
