Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED; no experience is required.
***Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be able to operate a UTMB vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in environmental, natural, or applied science, or related field, and/or 6 months of related experience.
Job Summary:
Provides basic technical assistance in the administration of policies, standards, and regulations relating to environmental health and safety under general supervision.
Job Duties\:
Primarily works in the Fire and Life Safety group of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department, responsible for ensuring that fire safety equipment is compliant as well as performing facility inspection services for Life Safety. Will also periodically work with other groups within EHS as needed to accomplish common goals.
