JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leadership, technical assistance, and supervision for the Environmental Services and Laundry Departments. Monitors staffing, equipment, supplies, job assignments, and evaluations. Responsible for on-going departmental quality initiatives and hospital regulations, standard operating procedures and the budget. The Director of Environmental Services works with all age populations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of high school diploma with at least five (3) to ten (10) years of healthcare environmental services background.
Licensure: None
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the healthcare setting. Two (2) years supervisory and/or management experience required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, management and leadership skills. Good organizational habits.
Proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
