Shift Availability:

• Full-time
• Salaried position Mon-Fri Days
• Occasional flexible scheduling depending upon needs of the department

Responsibilities of Environmental Services Supervisor

• Develop and supervise the overall operation of the Housekeeping & Laundry department
• Perform weekly inspections of all departmental functions
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures
• Coordinate services and activities with other related departments
• Determine department staffing and scheduling requirements
• Participate in recruitment and selection of new team members
• Ensure that department is following established safety regulations, including infection control
• Maintain stock level of required supplies, disinfectants, equipment, etc.
• Prepare annual departmental budget

Requirements

Qualifications of Manager of Environmental Services:

• High school education or equivalent
• Emphasis on exemplary Customer Service
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Housekeeping & Laundry position in a Healthcare facility
• Experience in leadership position is required
