About the job
Tysam Tech, LLC is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join the Environmental Engineering Team. This person will support the environmental needs of public and private sector clients, as well as Tysam Tech’s internal processes.

This person will work in our St. Croix, Virgin Island’s office, but support projects throughout the United States.

Duties Include

• Support the development of the Environmental Compliance and Management System


• Develop and manage NEPA documents, including Categorical Exclusions (CEs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs)


• Perform necessary Environmental audits and/or inspections


• Collect and analyze environmental data to determine the potential impacts to the human and natural environment


• Support client and Tysam Tech site compliance with various EPA, OSHA, and other Federal Regulations


• Manage environmental documents for record keeping


• Coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed


• Prepare detailed technical reports, environmental studies, and regulatory filings for submission to clients and regulatory agencies


• Provide guidance and updates on project status and regulatory requirements


• Assist in the overall management of the environmental aspects of projects to ensure timely completion


• Attend and participate in daily team meetings


• Ensure client RCRA Compliance


• Support other tasks as assigned by the Environmental Engineer II

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or comparable experience


• Demonstrated teamwork capability and can-do attitude


• Excellent communication skills: Oral and Written


• Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills


• Demonstrated commitment to safety

Compensation & Benefits

• HIRING SALARY RANGE: Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.


• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.


• For Regular Full-Time Salaried positions, Tysam Tech includes a comprehensive benefit structure.
