Job Description - Environmental Stormwater Compliance Analyst (Construction)

Environmental Stormwater Compliance Analyst (Construction)

1099 Contract | Full-Time, Onsite | Boise, ID | $40 to $65/hour

About the Opportunity

If you know SWPPPs, the Construction General Permit, and what good erosion and sediment control actually looks like in the field, we want to talk. Contract Safety Professionals is hiring a full-time Environmental Stormwater Compliance Analyst for a high-profile semiconductor construction project in Boise, one of the most significant industrial builds in the region. You will own stormwater compliance on an active, fast-paced site, moving between the field and the paperwork to keep the project inspection-ready and the permits airtight. Pay is $40 to $65 per hour (1099), based on experience and certifications. This is an ongoing, long-term contract, not a short project fill.

About CSP

Contract Safety Professionals, LLC is a veteran-owned (SDVOSB), minority business enterprise (MBE/NMSDC-certified) safety and environmental staffing firm. We place credentialed professionals on high-consequence construction and industrial projects nationwide, including semiconductor fabrication and heavy industrial work. We do things differently, and we back the people we put in the field.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct routine and rain-event stormwater inspections and document findings in line with the Construction General Permit (CGP) and NPDES requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) as site conditions change.
  • Walk the site, identify erosion and sediment control (ESC) deficiencies, and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Track best management practices (BMPs) and verify they are installed, maintained, and working.
  • Keep inspection logs, records, and permit documentation complete and audit-ready.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for stormwater compliance and coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Flag potential compliance risks early and recommend practical, buildable solutions.

Requirements

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
  • Working knowledge of stormwater regulations: NPDES, the Construction General Permit, and SWPPP requirements.
  • Experience performing stormwater inspections and erosion and sediment control on active construction sites.
  • Strong documentation habits and the discipline to keep records inspection-ready.
  • Ability to be onsite in Boise, ID, full-time.

Nice to Have

  • CPESC, CESSWI, QSP/QSD, or a state-recognized stormwater inspector certification.
  • Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
  • Exposure to environmental permitting, remediation, or water resources.
  • Experience on large-scale semiconductor, industrial, or commercial construction projects.

Compensation

  • Pay: $40 to $65 per hour (1099), based on experience and certifications
  • Full-time, ongoing 1099 contract
  • Onsite in Boise, ID
