Environmental Technician - Night Shift

Southwest Galvanizing, Inc. is looking for an Environmental Technician with a flexible schedule that MUST be willing to work Night Shift 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

We are looking for a hard worker that is willing to learn. Will train on day shift until ready to work night shift on your own.

• Must be organized and be able to get the job done with little supervision
• Must work in a fast-paced environment, possess critical thinking skills, and able to multitask.  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must work with/understand pneumatic pumps, valves, plumbing
• Must be able to work in a dusty, dirty work environment
• Work handling hazardous waste profiles
• Operate overhead cranes
• Chemical testing in acid tanks
• Run Acid Recovery Unit
• Run MZR (zinc recycling) machines
• Manage/add highly corrosive chemicals
• Light record keeping

• Must have high awareness of safety (wear PPE)
• Heavy lifting required
• Steel toe boots required
• Bilingual is highly preferred
• Must be able to pass E-Verify
• Drug test and physical required if hired
