Boston Scientific offers a comprehensive and integrated portfolio to support the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation (AFib) and other cardiac arrhythmias. This includes the Opal HDx\u2122 mapping system, FARAPULSE\u2122 pulsed field ablation, transeptal access tools, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN FLX\u2122 left atrial appendage closure devices.\n\nIn this field-based leadership role, you will manage and develop a high-performing team of EP Mapping Specialists who provide clinical, technical, and procedural support across these advanced platforms. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving mapping adoption, optimizing procedural outcomes, supporting new technology launches, and ensuring team performance aligns with Boston Scientific\u2019s strategic goals. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence patient care, advance innovation in the EP space, and play a key role in shaping the future of cardiac care through thoughtful clinical leadership.\n\n \n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n * Lead the successful launch of new system placements, including hardware, catheters, and software.\n * Assess individual and team training needs to ensure development and certification of EP mapping specialists through structured coaching and final assessments.\n * Manage complex scheduling needs and resolve clinical coverage conflicts across geographic boundaries, providing hands-on clinical support and education as needed.\n * Champion the introduction of new technologies and drive improvements in mapping utilization and clinical outcomes for existing customers.\n * Collaborate closely with the EP Business Development Manager to align clinical goals and initiatives with the broader regional sales strategy.\n * Foster a culture of collaboration through consistent communication with direct reports, peers, and leadership including EP Sales Reps, Rhythm Regional Managers, and the Area Sales Director.\n * Oversee travel and expense reporting for your team, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and adherence to company guidelines.\n * Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.\n * Partner with key internal stakeholders\u2014including Clinical Research, Marketing, Technical Support, and Sales\u2014to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.\n * Lead ongoing education and skill development across the EP clinical team and support execution of company-sponsored events and trainings.\n * Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback through regular field visits, mid-year, and annual evaluations.\n * Maintain appropriate tools, resources, and staffing to ensure Quality System compliance and adherence to Boston Scientific\u2019s Quality Policy.\n * Promote an inclusive, high-performance work environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\n * Provide strategic oversight and guidance for budgets, team performance, and operational excellence across functional areas.\n * Lead by example in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, enabling team members to contribute at their highest potential.\n * Monitor adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards, ensuring operational excellence across all activities.\n\n\n\n \n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * Minimum of a bachelor\u2019s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n * Minimum of 7 years of related experience.\n * Demonstrated business acumen with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.\n * Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple divisions.\n\n\n\n \n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Knowledge of the local EP customer base and regional market dynamics.\n * EP certification and hands-on experience supporting electrophysiology therapies, implants, and related technologies.\n * Established leadership presence with the ability to coach, influence, and develop high-performing teams.\n * Strong conflict resolution and change management skills.\n * Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.\n * Demonstrated success managing complex projects from concept to execution.\n * Highly motivated, organized, and goal-driven with a strong sense of ownership.\n\n\n\nRequisition ID: 629176\n\nThe anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $120,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com.
