Ephemera is a creative tasting-menu focused space with ever changing offerings. We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to be a fundamental leader and educator of our small team of dedicated culinarians. As Sous Chef, one would work under both Chef de Cuisine and Chef-Owner, and be expected to run and manage daily line service, food preparation, assist in regular inventory and ordering needs, advise on staff scheduling, and act as a primary contributor to our ever-evolving menu changes with inventive and unique offerings, as well as constructive critique and developmental effort in the team's contributions at large.
We are an Open Kitchen with guest-facing presentation that requires enthusiastic interaction, calm demeanor, and mindful discretion with team and guest exchanges at all times.
