Requirements
Responsibilities
⢠Provide subject matter expertise in Epic Orders, including build, testing, optimization, and workflow analysis
⢠Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to evaluate requirements and translate needs into Epic solutions
⢠Lead and support build activities such as order sets, preference lists, order transmittal, routing, and related configuration
⢠Troubleshoot issues, perform impact assessments, and support enhancements or break fixes
⢠Participate in project planning, testing cycles, cutover preparation, and go live support
⢠Collaborate with cross functional Epic teams to maintain system stability and ensure cohesive workflows across modules
⢠Maintain documentation for build, change requests, testing, and approvals
⢠Adhere to organizational standards and regulatory requirements
⢠Provide remote and onsite support as needed, including during major implementations or optimization initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
⢠Current Epic Orders certification or accreditation
⢠Strong experience supporting Epic Orders in a hospital or health system environment
⢠Proven ability to analyze clinical workflows and translate them into effective Epic solutions
⢠Hands on experience with order sets, preference lists, order transmittal, user workflow optimization, and related build
⢠Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with both technical and clinical teams
⢠Experience participating in testing cycles, change control, cutover, and go live support
⢠Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
⢠Ability to travel onsite less than once per month and during go live events
