Epoxy Flooring Project Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time Epoxy Flooring Project Manager in our Copiague, NY location. This position requires an individual who is highly experienced in the installation of poured epoxy floors. This is a leadership position that will require strong initiative and the necessary drive to be proactive in all phases related to project management and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Play a key role during the sales process to ensure Proposals and material orders are accurate with a focus on cost savings, inventory control, and maintaining profit margins.


• 
  Support Sales efforts by having the ability to estimate both from blueprints and field measurements. Must be able to utilize internal cost sheets and work within the current operations flow of our business.


• 
  Review and audit material orders to ensure we are satisfying our customers’ requirements in addition to maximizing profitability.


• 
  Work with Warehouse and Purchasing teams to maintain ‘stock’ inventory while tracking special order items required to meet required install dates.


• 
  Work with Logistics department, Project Managers, and Epoxy Crews to schedule jobs and identify manpower and equipment requirements. Must be able to multi-task and move our crews efficiently from job to job in a cost-effective manner.


• 
  Frequently visit sites accordingly based on size and scope to inspect the quality and accuracy of work being performed. React to potentially challenging items or errors in real time to minimize large punch list items at job completion.

Qualifications:

• 
  Commercial Poured Epoxy Flooring Experience as an Installer; 3-5 years preferred.


• 
  Commercial Project Management Experience is plus.


• 
  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.


• 
  Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and polished with the ability to interact professionally with Customers.


• 
  Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
