POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure a safe learning environment for horses and riders, helping care for the horses and providing guidance to instructors on programming. The Consultant will also be on call to address urgent and emergency situations with the horses as needed.
POSITION AVAILABILITY:
This role begins with a required orientation beginning the week of June 8 through June 11, these are full days. After orientation, the Equestrian Consultant will be onsite 1-2 days per week when camp is in session, and as needed in emergency situations. During camp sessions, hours are flexible and may range between 4-24 hours/session. When on-site, if housing is needed, it can be provided. Camp session dates are as follows:
Session 1: June 21-July 2
Session 2: July 5-16
Session 3: July 19-30
Teen Camp and Camp Clean-up: August 2-7
Family Camp: August 8-10
