Job Description - Equipment Maintenance Engineer (A Group MLB PE 02 )-Houston,TX

Purpose of the position
1.Ensure efficient operation and safe production of equipment: By accurately scheduling equipment transfer, preventive maintenance, rapid fault repair, and strict acceptance, ensure the reduction of equipment downtime rate ( rate <5%), achieve production targets, and prevent shutdowns or safety accidents caused by equipment issues.
2.Optimize quality and cost control: Improve yield through parameter optimization and root cause analysis, simultaneously promote the upgrade of old equipment (reduce maintenance costs), meet customer requirements for new line CPK/GRR, L-Q, and OK2Build approval, ensuring that the production efficiency meets the standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Equipment Transfer: Conduct equipment scheduling and asset transfer based on line requirements and customer needs to ensure line and production demands.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for equipment maintenance planning according to maintenance requirements and production scheduling, ensuring high-quality and efficient operation of equipment to accomplish production tasks.
3. Equipment Installation & Optimization: Complete the disassembly and installation of new product line equipment according to the disassembly line plan; and adjust parameters based on product characteristics and equipment properties to achieve optimal performance, ensuring efficient operation
4. Quality Adjustment & Equipment Repair: Optimize for quality deviations to ensure achievement of production capacity and yield targets; conduct fault detection and repair for equipment anomalies, and maintain a record of abnormal incidents and their summaries.
5. Equipment Inspection: Verify equipment suitability for production and industrial safety requirements based on equipment investigation forms and company industrial safety standards
6. Equipment Renewal & Upgrade: Upgrade old equipment according to its condition and production needs, saving costs while ensuring high-quality operation.
7. Customer Coordination: Complete critical parameter assessment/validation for new lines based on customer requirements, product manufacturing needs, and goals for improving production quality; produce CPK & GRR, L-Q, and ok2build approval; participate in customer meetings to review new product quality efficiency, develop relevant solutions for production projects, and achieve quality efficiency goals.
8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Education and work experience
1. Work Experience:
1.1 More than 7 years of work experience in SMT-related fields, familiar with SMT processes
1.2 More than 5 years of management experience, capable of managing a team to achieve KPIs
1.3 Familiar with the definition of process requirements and standard specifications for all SMT processes
1.4 Preference for candidates with experience in process analysis and equipment debugging
2. Language Skills:
2.1 English proficiency: Excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English, able to communicate fluently with overseas clients, proficient in creating and presenting English reports
2.2 Chinese proficiency: Excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Chinese, able to communicate fluently with domestic supervisors, proficient in creating and presenting Chinese reports

Office-based role, fast-paced work environment
This position must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies and be available to work non-core hours or overtime to complete various projects without interruption to operations.
