Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments including night shift Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to stand the entire shift and lift equipment Basic understanding of SPC principles Knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis Knowledge of algebraic concepts, data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills Education in industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience Applied proficiency in mechatronics, robotics, fundamentals of electricity, technical writing, electrical power and machinery, or statics Prior semiconductor experience
