SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Dillsburg, PA.  This individual should have a minimum of two years; relevant operating experience. Work is primarily in South Central PA and surrounding areas.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to safely operate and maintain various types of equipment (i.e. Excavators, Mini Excavator, Back Hoes, Skid Loaders, Graders, etc.)


• Must be able to follow construction diagrams


• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction practices


• Performs regular equipment inspection to ensure functionality and safety
  


• Ability to take direction from foreman to complete daily tasks and meet project goals for job site
  


• Travels from job site to job site when/as needed


• Works closely with other crew members; in a fast-paced environment 
  


• Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids 
  


• Performs other labor duties as assigned by foreman or project manage
  


• Follows all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age


• Possesses a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach assigned job sites


• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loaders, graders, or similar machinery


• Knowledge of general construction processes
  


• Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions


• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines


• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe job site environment


• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
