Equipment Operator

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Equipment Operator 1 to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll operate a variety of production equipment, handle materials, perform routine machine adjustments and maintenance, and work alongside your team to keep production running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Title: Equipment Operator 1
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Shift/Hours: M-F; 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Location: In Warehouse
Pay Range: $18.00 - 21.00 per hour, DOE

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Equipment Operator 1 performs a range of duties including but not limited to the following:

• Operate and adjust manufacturing equipment to produce company products.


• Load, unload, cut, measure, reroll, and package materials as required.


• Handle materials and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.


• Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs.


• Use hand tools, power tools, compressed air, and other equipment as needed.


• Read measuring tapes and accurately measure materials.


• Work closely with production and warehouse staff to meet production targets.


• Follow all company procedures, safety policies, and quality standards.


• Participate in required safety training and initiatives.


• Maintain a clean and safe work area.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred


• 1-2 years of previous machine operation experience


• Effective communicator, both written and verbally; understand basic English


• Ability to meet production goals/deadlines


• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks or projects


• Shows initiative and looks for ways to improve the organization or create new opportunities


• Excellent attention to detail


• Must be able to work efficiently individually and as part of a team


• Ability to troubleshoot or problem-solve
  
  

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand in a stationary position for long periods; occasionally move around the office and reach into cabinets, drawers, etc.; ability to lift to 60 pounds.

Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with fluorescent lighting, regular interruptions, and an increased noise level.
