Equipment Operator II - Sanitation

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Equipment Operator II in the Sanitation Department. The incumbent performs skilled work in safely operating front-end loading sanitation equipment and/or over-the-road sanitation tractor-trailer equipment either on a commercial sanitation route or between the sanitary landfill and the transfer station. High school or GED. Previous experience in the operation of a front-end packer and/or experience in the operation of a tractor-trailer tandem and backhoe required. Must possess a valid Oklahoma Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. Employee must meet City insurance standards. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting Salary: $21.1622/hr. w/Benefits.
