Equipment Operator- Streets

Equipment Operator :Incumbent will drive dump trucks hauling bituminous patch material and participate in the patching of potholes. Duties may include supervising employees assigned to trucks as helpers. Will operate rollers, skid steer, loaders, or other equipment on occasion. Will provide assistance during concrete pours and asphalt patchwork. Will operate truck-mounted snowplow and other snow removal equipment when necessary.

Ability to work after hours during weather-related and other emergencies is essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·       HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

·       Experience in construction related activity

·       Possession of valid Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months of hire

·       Ability to perform manual labor for an extended period in all weather

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Snow removal experience

·       Concrete and/or asphalt experience

SALARY: $22.44/ HOURLY
