Primary Responsibilities
HDR is looking for an Equipment Planner to join our award-winning Healthcare Architecture practice. In the role of Equipment Planner, we'll count on you to:
Work with a Senior Planner and the design team, including architects, engineers and other consultants, to fully incorporate the equipment needs of the project Provide medical equipment solutions to clients in a variety of locations and throughout all areas of medical treatment and processes Participate in user group meetings to assist in and document decision making Discuss advantages and disadvantages of specific types of medical equipment, and help clients select equipment for their individual healthcare environments, including the inventory, assessment and incorporation of existing equipment Prepare reports, schedules, budgets and location drawings/documents for the planned equipment Perform other duties as needed LI-SM1
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of medical equipment planning experience Individuals with a clinical background involving Nursing, Purchasing, Biomedical Engineering or other Clinical specialties will be given strong consideration Significant understanding of medical equipment and the hospital environment Ability to interact professionally with healthcare clients and design team members Knowledge of current Medical Equipment technology Very strong communication skills Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Access) An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired Local candidates are preferred
