Job Description - Equipment Sales Representative- Southern California
Espresso Services Inc (ESI) is a well-established coffee equipment sales and service company in the upper-midwest looking for a curious, driven, detail-oriented candidate excited to learn all aspects of our business and drive sales. The Equipment Sales Representative will play a vital role in expanding our business’ footprint through consultative coffee equipment sales, which includes commercial coffee equipment, service contracts, and technical service in various business channels in the Los Angeles area. This position reports directly to the Equipment Sales Director, working to achieve annual growth goals and sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of success in sales, a background working in specialty coffee, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Perform outbound commercial coffee equipment sales through various channels.
Generate new business through conversion of inbound leads, and prospecting new business channels.
Manage and monitor all assigned accounts to ensure customer service standards and business development activities are fulfilled.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of several different equipment brands and produce tailored solutions to end-users.
Prepare professional business proposals and quotations according to customers' identified needs and manage expiration dates regularly.
Identify sales opportunities within the target market to build an ongoing pipeline of business to meet annual sales goals and record activities in CRM.
Prioritize work based on sales volume and profitability of opportunities.
Prepare and report monthly sales pipeline for management review.
Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment from customers.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
Time management
Customer service skills
Oral and written communication skills
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to be a team player
Familiar with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Experience leveraging CRM tools to manage pipelines and drive sales is highly preferred. Previous experience using NetSuite is a plus.

Negotiable starting salary range of $50-$60k, with guaranteed commission during probationary period and uncapped commission based on equipment sales profitability.
