Job Description - Equipment Specialist PQDR, Inventory & NSN

POSITION: Equipment Specialist – PQDR, Inventory & NSN


LOCATION: Albany, GA (On-Site Work)


STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire     


 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 5+years of related experience with supporting Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR) investigations, failure analysis coordination, corrective action tracking, and supplier engagement to resolve fielded system defects.

  • Must Haves: Extensive experience with inventory control, National Stock Number (NSN) assignment, and supply documentation for infantry weapons and associated subsystems to support readiness and sustainment operations.

  • Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one

  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements

  • Skills: Relevant DoD acquisition, logistics and inventory experience; Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong documentation and technical reporting skills, Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team


 


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Client Familiarity: USMC

  • Tools Familiarity: DoD 5000 Manual, DoD/IC Acquisition Process, DAU acquisition, logistics and sustainment courses


 



PRIMARY DUTIES:



  • Supports Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR) investigations, failure analysis coordination, corrective action tracking, and supplier engagement to resolve fielded system defects.

  • Manage inventory control, National Stock Number (NSN) assignment, and supply documentation for infantry weapons and associated subsystems to support readiness and sustainment operations.

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver required documentation, reports, and analyses

  • Coordinate with Government IPTs and stakeholders

  • Perform duties in direct support of Marine Corps
