Are you a detail-oriented technical professional looking to make a direct impact in the election industry? ElectionSource, a leading provider of election services and technology, is seeking an Equipment Support and Testing Technician to ensure the smooth and secure operation of our vital election equipment. In this full-time, salaried role, you'll be responsible for providing essential service, support, and testing to our clients, contributing directly to the integrity of the electoral process. Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service voting equipment at our facility and client locations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct thorough testing of voting equipment at client sites, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with our Sales and Coding Departments to provide technical assistance.
- Serve as a key point of contact for client support inquiries, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs related to our products and services, implementing effective solutions.
- Manage and process customer orders for products and services, ensuring adherence to agreements and requirements.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to gather feedback and contribute to the improvement of our products.
- Support the ElectionSource management team in implementing updates and certifications from the State of Michigan Bureau of Elections.
- Represent ElectionSource at Clerks Association Meetings.
- Take on other responsibilities as needed to support our mission.
What You'll Need:
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or technical support.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing technical product implementations.
- Knowledge of the election industry is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in IT, including software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Availability to work extended hours during election season.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
