Equipment Technician 2 - Day Shift

This position is for day shift (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of the offline, auxiliary bindery/finishing equipment, and web presses
• Perform routine, scheduled maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, replacement of worn parts, adjusting belt tension, knife grinding, etc. 
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and submit orders for part as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment

• Excellent knowledge of small/light equipment and machines and the mechanical operation of equipment
• Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical functioning of machinery serviced and ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and identify worn out parts
• Able to troubleshoot issues with equipment issues that are not readily apparent or where manufacturer supplied manuals are not available
• Ability to understand electrical and mechanical schematics
• Ability to interpret instruction manuals
• Very good knowledge of the tools and test equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of equipment serviced

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $19.89 to $30.27 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
