Equipment Technician - Home Oxygen

The Equipment Technician provides essential support to patients by delivering, setting up, and educating patients and caregivers on the safe use of oxygen, respiratory, and hospice equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing or replacing equipment as needed, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring returned equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and tested. The Technician also coordinates equipment deliveries and pickups with patients, caregivers, and facility staff within a 60-mile service area.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience working with medical gases in a home care delivery setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.

EDUCATION: 

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: 

• Complete certification annually in CGMP training for the operation of the oxygen transfill system, ServoMex oxygen analyzer, and proper oxygen delivery processes
