ER Associate Vet

The Role

• Sole-charge overnight emergency and inpatient care
• Manage a caseload that typically includes post-op patients, diabetics, and incoming emergencies
• Perform common emergency surgeries confidently (GDV, foreign body, splenectomy, C-section, etc.)
• Work closely with our nursing team, offering training and mentorship during quieter hours
• Collaborate with day clinicians and specialists to ensure seamless continuity of care

Schedule Designed for Balance

• Current rota: 3 nights on, 6 nights off
• Open to discussion on how shifts can be managed

About You

• License to practice in California
• 2 years ER experience preferred
• Surgically competent and confident working sole charge overnight
• Team player with a can-do attitude and passion for mentorship
• Strong communicator who builds trust with colleagues, clients, and staff
